Rock The Red Pump
A few weeks ago, I was selected as the Charlotte Red Pump Ambassador for The Red Pump Project. Red Pump Project (RPP) was created to assist in the promotion of National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day that happens every year in March; however, RPP has since blossomed into its own free standing organization. Here is some basic information about the Red Pump Project:
"The Red Pump Project was created in March 2009 to spread awareness of the
impact of HIV/AIDS on women and girls. The Red Pump represents the
strength and courage of women fighting HIV/AIDS either directly

In my new role, I will be coordinating events and fundraising efforts to support the organizations ongoing mission and vision to spread awareness and provide resources for those women and girls affected by HIV and AIDS in our city, our nation and the world. Hit me up if you want to help...

Mother's Day 2009
Had a great time with my cousin, aunt, grandma and of course the coolest woman on the planet otherwise known as my MOMMY!!!!!
Temperature Check
What a difference a day makes. I took the day off yesterday to be pitiful and sick in my house—I will never do that again. After one day off (mind you, my definition of day off is only taking one conference call and facilitating a casting call for a client in between body aches and coughs…exhaustion is a b*%^#), I had to play catch up all day today…and when I say all day…I mean ALL DAY. Nevertheless, I have proved somewhat effective. I’ve been returning calls, setting up meetings, rewriting web content, being ignored by two of my six business partners (just joking fellas, but I couldn’t resist)…you know the usual. Had some famous people stop through the studio today, which is always an added bonus for working for a network.
So, I give today an 8.5 on a scale of 1-10. Only thing that could make it better…well, I’ll keep that to myself for now.
