Giving Thanks...A Few Days Early

It’s been an eventful week to say the least…I’ve been quoted and placed on the cover of a magazine (Thanks Sarah and the entire Charlotte Magazine family)…I’ve made it to some great events (Opulence Jewelers Soft Opening, Urban League reception and meeting, among other things). I was able to help with some social media initiatives at the day job as well as continue the planning for Amped 4-A-Cure and The Red Pump Project. Jameka has been a very busy bee.

I often complain about my lack of male companionship and even more importantly, my lack of sleep, but really, it is all lip service. I love my life. I love what I do. I have incredibly talented clients who are truly going places. I am so proud of them all. It always feels like family (even when the invoices are late, lol). And I am surrounded by a team of gifted individuals. On the Amped 4-A-Cure side, each team member brings an unimaginable wealth of knowledge in his/her particular field…with JSW Media, what can I say—I blessed to be surrounded by such gifted young ladies (as well as an equally gifted, yet not as young male business partner, hehehehe).

So, yeah, I’m blessed beyond measure…and it just keeps getting better. Hope you all are ready to take that ride with me. As we prepare for the holidays, I pray you all are truly “thankful” for everything…good, bad and in between. The in between is what defines you, your true character. Remember—if you are being talked about, you are probably doing something right:-).

One last thing—this is your official invitation to hang out at what promises to be one of the more entertaining, eclectic, and exciting holiday parties of the season. Nothing like starting the season off with a bang. The Red Pump/Red Tie Affair will be a party to remember…it is always better to party with a purpose so join me on World AIDS Day as we kick it for a cause…Don’t wait, please get your ticket online now, otherwise you will be reading about all the fun later…http://www.theredpumpaffair2009.eventbrite.com/. Have a great Thanksgiving Day holiday--eat, drink and be merry.

Peace and Blessings,
Jameka
