My 2012 PSA: A Video Message

As usual, it's been a busy 2012 (and yes I realize we are still in the month of January).  I have so many projects on the table and in negotiation for that I am super excited about.  I just want to make sure I always share all the good stuff with my readers.

Thanks for listening, and I will be sharing more soon!

Take care beautiful people:-)

"Creativity is a Drug I can't live without"

Relaxed and Rejuvenated

How did I, with all my diva glam and innate fabulousness, spend the Memorial Day weekend--mostly in a tank top and sweats, but boy did I enjoy it.  I took the time to hang out at my own house, something I rarely get to do most days, especially with the constant flow of meetings, events, work, etc. It was great doing nothing--well, that's not exactly true.  I took the weekend to completely reorganize by home office.  I decided that in order to make room for the new things to come into your life, you HAVE to dispose of the old stuff, it is a must.

However, I wouldn't be me if I didn't spend at least part of the time working an event.  I attended the first night of Summer Jazz at Tutto Mondo (that's here in Charlotte for my out of state followers).  Music was by The Queen's Collective, and I must say it was a good time.  I enjoyed myself quite a bit.

I was there representing Amped 4-A-Cure, Inc and making sure everyone was AMPED! Good news is that we found out the event is going to be weekly for June.  What more can you ask for? Live Music, Good Food, Great People, Cool Venue...and FREE.  Fellas, good place to bring a date!  Check out the flyer below for details:

I hope I can count on some of you to join me one of these weekends...Don't miss out:-)

Peace & Blessings

Oooohhhh, I want one...

I know y'all must be sick of hearing about my house...but I can't help but be excited about being a homeowner. I finally feel like a responsible adult:-) Anyway, I was searching around the internet (big surprise I know) and I found a site for address plaques. Yep, you read that correctly, an address plaque. I know my current home doesn't really warrant one of these lovely plaques, but when I get the right spot, preferably when I buy my next crib (which I hope is with a husband so that we can combine our income and get a really, really dope house), I'd like a plaque that says Whitten Residence (or applicable last name is I am married) right above the address...that would be too cute.

I think I also want a puppy. I'm not sure about kids at this point in life, but I'd really like a cute puppy that grows into a cool dog. And I don't want one of those punk dogs either, I don't need anything the size of my purse. I have to draw the line somewhere.

Homeowner Blues part 1

Being a homeowner is expensive. I have so many plans for this house, but finding the time, energy and money to get everything I need done completed is exhausting. For instance, I need to paint my bathrooms, my kitchen and the accent wall in the living room...fortunately I found this cool website for estimating Painting Costs, but unfortunately, that crap is expensive as h@#%. I need a million dollars, anybody want to hook a sista up, lol.
