All About the Men

Truly, there is nothing I enjoy more than being surrounded by professional men of all ethnicities who appreciate fashion, embrace an entrepreneurial spirit (not too mention good ole common sense thrown in for flavor), have impeccable taste, are socially aware and have a keen sense of personal style.  These are the guys I love to flirt with at parties.  So, in an effort to let these fellas know just how special they are, Charlotte STYLE teamed up with JSW & Crave Dessert Bar for The STYLE Suite: Men's Appreciation Event.  During the evening, men in the Charlotte area will have the opportunity to be pampered...Why?  Because we can...and we like you (at least I know I do).

The event is hosted by the beautiful and talented Kelly Hood, and will feature a fashion showcase, desserts, giveaways, complimentary massages and MANicures. 

Fellas, let us take care of you.  Come on out Thursday, June 24th from 6pm-10pm.  Guys, come have a nice relaxing evening and let us cater to you.  Ladies- I wouldn't miss it. This event is free...and it is truly ALL about the men!  I'm excited to get my flirt on...are you with me?

It's About to Be On...And Poppin

Clearly, there is  no rest for the weary, and this weekend is shaping up to be a busy one indeed.  After reviewing my meeting calendar for next week AND my pr/event schedule for all of my clients, I have quite a bit of preparation to do, especially since we were able to pick up a new client today (yay!, official announcement coming later).  This is not including my Amped work (lots on the table with that, great stuff that we will get to announce soon).  Click here to read all about our 1 year anniversary! So yeah, there is a lot on the plate for the weekend.  I have a JSW team meeting @ 9 a.m.  Summer Jazz at Tutto Mondo at 5 p.m. And a baby shower to attend in between at 3 p.m., lol.  Talk about over scheduling your life:-).  However, at the end of the day...I LOVE what I do.  All of the madness, the prep, the excitment, the networking, the drama, all of it.  At least I know I can handle it, and that is in itself, a blessing.

Relaxed and Rejuvenated

How did I, with all my diva glam and innate fabulousness, spend the Memorial Day weekend--mostly in a tank top and sweats, but boy did I enjoy it.  I took the time to hang out at my own house, something I rarely get to do most days, especially with the constant flow of meetings, events, work, etc. It was great doing nothing--well, that's not exactly true.  I took the weekend to completely reorganize by home office.  I decided that in order to make room for the new things to come into your life, you HAVE to dispose of the old stuff, it is a must. 

However, I wouldn't be me if I didn't spend at least part of the time working an event.  I attended the first night of Summer Jazz at Tutto Mondo (that's here in Charlotte for my out of state followers).  Music was by The Queen's Collective, and I must say it was a good time.  I enjoyed myself quite a bit. 

I was there representing Amped 4-A-Cure, Inc and making sure everyone was AMPED! Good news is that we found out the event is going to be weekly for June.  What more can you ask for? Live Music, Good Food, Great People, Cool Venue...and FREE.  Fellas, good place to bring a date!  Check out the flyer below for details:
